Hsu Jui Ting outperforms Kittisak Namdash in 2013 SCG Thailand Open ? Badminton news

Men?s Singles campaigner Hsu Jui Ting of Chinese Taipei displayed commendable badminton craft in the qualifying round of SCG Thailand Open and registered his first win on June 4, 2013.

He locked horns with a native shuttler Kittisak Namdash and their meeting prolonged to 58 minutes before ending with decisive figures of 20-22, 21-17 and 23-21.

The Taipei shuttler looked off colour in the opening game but he managed to revive his lost form when it mattered and wrapped this showdown in a favourable manner. Meanwhile, the Thai player squandered a great opportunity of straight-set win and crashed out of the tournament in a disgraceful manner.

In the opening game of match, Kittisak showed great fighting spirit and matched his rival?s skills in all departments of the game. He amazed everyone by playing with an authoritative approach in the establishing rallies and then magnified the impact by registering a decent total before the interval.

After the one-minute break, the Thai shuttler injected more intensity in his attack and strengthened his grip. Although a few back-to-back mistakes put his supremacy in danger, yet he managed to win by a margin of 22-20.

However, the story was entirely different in the following game as the Taipei campaigner got back into action and brought the contest to the right balance. He raised his chances of success by claiming few consecutive points in the beginning and then doubled his total in no time.

He kept on moving forward at a steady pace and finished first half of the set with a respectable figure. He did not lose focus at any stage of the game and swept the table with an impressive result of 21-17.

With this development, both contenders were standing equal in terms of score and were looking to pocket the final match point.

The third set proved the best segment of the showdown as it kept swinging between both shuttlers all the way to game point situation. Initially, the Taipei player enjoyed an upper hand but the local shuttler gained a decent advantage in third quarter of the set.

This nerve-racking tussle ended when Hsu Jui put a concluding figure of 23-21. Now he will meet Adulrach Namkul in qualifying round of the Thailand Open.
